Working in Partnership : Lowmac Alloys

Working in Partnership : Lowmac Alloys

In recent weeks we are pleased to have commenced two separate contacts with Scottish based recycling company Lowmac Alloys

Earlier this month , the first of a regular TFS of oily rags was transported to Sweden for energy recovery.

More recently, our Alternative Fuels team have agreed a contract with Lowmac Alloys which will see 12,500 tonnes of RDF exported to one of Totus’ long-term partner facilities in Norway for energy recovery.

At a time when the world’s eyes are on Scotland as we seek solutions to the climate change crisis at COP 26, we will be transporting the material just 10 miles by road from Lowmac’s site to Ayr Dock for export, significantly reducing the carbon footprint of the waste movements.

Totus is keen to establish partnerships within the waste and associated industries. To understand where we could add value, please contact us.
